For this module we were tasked with identifying features in an image based on size and shape, shadows, patterns, and associated features. For this exercise I labeled the features and created new feature layers in these categories. For the shadow features I picked the Pensacola Beach water tower, a building in front of the main parking lot and a palm tree. I chose these features based on their recognizable shadows. For the pattern feature, I chose a parking lot for the lines, a row of cars, and a row of houses. These were recognizable patterns that gave helpful hints of the objects as a whole. For the associated features, I chose the Pensacola Beach Pier because it is a long recognizable feature jetting into and ending in the water, and a hotel based on the parking lot, building shaped, and central pool.
