For this lab we explored weighted raster overlay for optimal mountain lion habitat. The raster overlay above is based on reclassified landcover and soils, slope converted elevation from a DEM, and Euclidean distance for streams and roads. An equal weighted overlay of 20% was then applied to all factors. This was changed to an unequal weight distribution for comparison.
