Lab 6 Georeferencing, Editing, & 3D

This week we georeferenced three images onto the UWF campus. To do this we placed the distorted images on the map and manipulated the orientation using control points from known landmarks like buildings and roads. For me, the most challenging image to georeference was the Heritage Hall Parcel Survey. Because the image did not contain the existing building it was difficult to place and connect the points. We also added the Campus Lane road using the snapping feature and building 072 using the building polygon feature. The last objective was to create a buffer around the eagle nest protection zone using the multiple ring buffer and add a picture of the eagle nest to the pop up for this point.
